About Me

I am a BACP registered integrative counsellor with experience of working with a range of issues including anxiety, self-esteem, bereavement, intrusive thoughts, childhood trauma and difficulties in every-day relationships.

Qualifications: I have a Diploma in Integrative Counselling from The Minster Centre (BACP Accredited Training Course) and am in my final year of a Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy (Middlesex University). My dissertation research, The Forgotten Ones, is on the lived experience of losing a sibling in adulthood. I am a registered member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Therapy) and work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework.

Experience: As well as my private practice, I am a counsellor at Trinity Laban, a music and dance college based in South London. I have been working with students there since 2019. I have also worked as a counsellor at Enfield and Barnet Mind’s Covid Bereavement Service and at MCPCS, the Minster Centre’s Psychotherapy and Counselling Service.

Before becoming a counsellor: I worked in theatre and community arts for 25 years. I also co-founded Fun Palaces a campaign that celebrates the creativity in everyone. Supporting the self-confidence and creativity of individuals is also important to my work as a therapist.
